Mit gro\u00dfer Mehrheit verabschiedeten die Abgeordneten des EU-Parlaments am Freitag, dem 10. Juli 2020 eine Resolution, diue europ\u00e4ische Chemikalienverordnung REACH zu versch\u00e4rfen. Die von den GR\u00dcNEN\/Europ\u00e4ische Freie Allianz initiierte Resolution sieht konkrete Verbote giftiger Chemikalien vor. So sollen hormonver\u00e4ndernde Stoffe (endokrine Disruptoren) in Kosmetika, Spielzeugen und Nahrungsmittelverpackungen und langlebige Fluorchemikalien in Beschichtungen von Trinkbechern, Pfannen und Kleidung aus dem Handel gezogen werden.
\nSchon im Jahr 2013 und 2014 hatte der BUND tausende Kosmetik- und Pflegeprodukte auf ihren Gehalt an hormonell wirksamen Stoffen untersucht. Diese Stoffe werden mit gesundheitlichen Problemen in Verbindung gebracht, die in den letzten Jahrzehnten vermehrt aufgetreten sind. Dazu geh\u00f6ren der R\u00fcckgang der Spermienqualit\u00e4t, bestimmte hormonbedingte Krebsarten wie Brust-, Prostata- und Hodenkrebs sowie eine verfr\u00fchte Pubert\u00e4t bei M\u00e4dchen. <\/p>\n
